Maritzburg United marketing and communications manager Brian Zuma says the Team of Choice are eager to claim their first win in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.

The Team of Choice will now play Polokwane City at the Harry Gwala Stadium as they seek their first victory in the Absa Premiership.

Zuma says Maritzburg United are eager to redeem themselves following their back-to-back defeats against Supersport United and Kaizer Chiefs but the team remains fully focused on their task at hand, according to the Maritzburg United website.

In both games, Maritzburg were aggrieved with certain decisions by the officials.

‘Against Supersport, Rusike was clearly fouled in the box, but nothing was given. Against Chiefs, a legitimate goal was disallowed. It’s painful,’ Zuma.

‘We are very eager to give our supporters the first win of the season at home, and it has to be tomorrow. We are playing well, we just have to translate that to points.’

Maritzburg United against Polokwane City kicks off at 19:30.
