There have been many penalty saves by luck but Vannes OC goalkeeper Jean-Francois Bedenik became the luckiest man alive after his crazy penalty save in the French fifth division.

Bedenik dove the wrong way on a penalty that went off the bar and bounced off his back as he spun around to see where the ball went.

The penalty taker then tried to capitalise on his miss by heading in the rebound but the keeper made an incredible save from point-blank range before directing the ball to another opponent, forcing a second save before the ball was finally clear.
