SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt felt his side should have done better against Polokwane City following their exit from the Carling Knockout Cup.
Matsatsantsa suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Rise and Shine in the opening round at the TUT Stadium on Sunday.
A brace by Hlayisi Chauke and goals from Oswin Appollis and Ndamulelo Rodney Maphangule cancelled out Terrence Dzvukamanjaโs 88th-minute goal.
Hunt was left disappointed following their exit from the tournament and admits he didnโt expect to concede four goals.
โThis game is a missed opportunity, so weโre disappointed,โ Hunt said after the game.
โIโm very disappointed, but it is what it is.
โWe canโt take the fact that weโre lying third in the league and we finished third last season with the same bunch of players.
โWeโre punching way, way above where we should be.
โBut you donโt expect a result like this.
โWe should be better, far better and werenโt.โ
