Coach Hugo Broos will lead Bafana Bafana for the 50th time when they face Angola at the Grand Stade de Marrakech in their opening match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
The Belgian has been in charge of South Africa for four years since parting ways with KV Oostende back in 2021.
Broos has been in charge of 49 Bafana Bafana matches, winning 24 matches, drawing 19 and suffering just six defeats across all competitions.
The 73-year-old has helped Bafana secure a Bronze medal at the AFCON while helping the club secure their spot in this edition of the AFCON as well as the FIFA World Cup.
“Congratulations to coach Hugo for reaching this milestone,” said SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan.
