Former Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane and Mandela Ncikazi of Orlando Pirates have been nominated for the Men’s Coach of the Year award at the 2022 CAF Awards.

Mosimane and Ncikazi has been nominated alongside the likes of Kamou Malo, Amir Abdou, Carlos Quieroz, Tom Saintfiet, Florent Ibenge, Vahid Halilhodzic, Waldo Regragui and Aliou Cisse.

Pirates duo Bandile Shandu and Thembinkosi Lorch were nominated for the Interclub Player of the Year award alongside Al Ahly’s Percy Tau and Peter Shalulile.

Meanwhile, Mosimane’s former club Al Ahly and Orlando Pirates have been nominated for the Club of the Year award after the team

The Egyptian giants were nominated after they reached the final of the Caf Champions League, while the Buccaneers earned their place on the list after finishing as runners up in the Caf Confederation Cup.

The CAF Awards 2022 will be held on 21 July 2022 in Rabat, Morocco.
