PSL chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has confirmed the long-awaited return of fans to 50%-capacity stadiums, starting with next weekend’s Nedbank Cup quarter-final clashes.
Historically, over the past few seasons, Mamelodi Sundowns have been particularly slow starters in a league campaign. Now, after numerous weeks off during the Covid-19 lockdowns and with only a few games to go in 2019-20 league campaign, their title rivals Kaizer Chiefs hold the advantage, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
PSL action will return to the SABC after a five-year-deal was agreed for the broadcasting rights with the national broadcaster and various stakeholders on Friday.
