Watch as Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro and midfielder Willard Katsande talk to the media in the Soweto derby buildup for the Telkom Knockout quarter-final against Orlando Pirates.

Amakhosi and the Buccaneers will clash in the first Soweto derby of the season in the Telkom Knockout quarters at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, with a spot in the semi-finals up for grabs and both Soweto giants yearning to end their silverware drought.

The Glamour Boys come into the game full of confidence as they top the Absa Premiership log, five points ahead of second-placed Sundowns, who they beat 2-0 over the weekend. Pirates, on the other hand, have endured an indifferent season thus far after Rhulani Mokwena was forced to step in after the shock departure of Milutin Sredojevic.

Chiefs have not beaten their rivals since 2014, but according to Castro and Katsande the Glamour Boys are ready to fight for victory.

Chiefs welcomed the media to Naturena on Wednesday where Castro spoke of his involvement in ‘that’ goal against Sundowns, his partnership with fellow forwards and the upcoming Soweto derby.

Also watch Katsande commenting on his derby experience, the fight that it will take to win and confidence in the camp leading up to the game.
