Premier League stars make Black Lives Matter vow

The Premier League has announced that players’ names will be replaced on the backs of their shirts with ‘Black Lives Matter’ for the first 12 matches after the suspension to the season while a logo for the movement will be present on every shirt until the end of the season.

Manchester United had a mixed bag of results as they stepped up their preparations for the Premier League restart after they were beaten 2-1 in the first of two matches before rallying to win the second contest 3-1 against Championship side West Brom in a friendly on Friday.
