Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca admits it’s always difficult to play Manchester United at Old Trafford ahead of their Premier League clash on Saturday.

The Blues are set to travel to Old Trafford when they take on the Red Devils in their next Premier League match.

Chelsea will come into this fixture looking to bounce back following their 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Maresca’s side currently occupies fifth place in the league standings with eight points from their first for games of the season.

“I think it’s always difficult to play United away in their stadium, at Old Trafford,” Maresca told his club’s official website.

“So I don’t think now is the right moment or next year will be the right moment or last year was the right moment. It’s always difficult. It’s a difficult team, it’s a difficult stadium.

“I watched the games that they have played this season and some of the games were not the real result. Even the City game, until 1-0 or 2-0 they were in the game. When the game was 0-0 they had a few chances to score and to go ahead.

“So it will be a tough game, no doubt.”
