Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha says they are focused on making the most of their opportunity when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 final.
The Buccaneers will look to successfully defend their top-eight title when they face the Brazilians at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
The Sea Robbers are on the hunt to claim their fifth straight top-eight title when they face the Brazilians in what is expected to be an entertaining final in Durban.
Mbatha says the pressure of representing a club like Pirates is something every player must embrace, regardless of the opponent.
“Every player that is playing for Orlando Pirates must remember that they are playing for a big institution, and they have a job to do.
So, there’s always pressure not only for me but for everyone. Whoever gets an opportunity to play the game, I know they’ll do their best.”
“We don’t tend to focus on the opponents too much. Playing for Orlando Pirates, there is pressure alone. For us, it’s about continuing to work hard and continuing to prepare for the final.”
