Durban City FC have continued to strengthen their squad after acquiring the services of defensive midfielder Brooklyn Poggenpoel.

The 25-year-old joins the club after parting ways with SuperSport United, who sold their Premier Soccer League status to Siwelele FC.
Poggenpoel brings experience, having previously played for Old Mutual, Bidvest Wits FC Reserves, Cape Umoya United, Cape Town All Stars, and most recently SuperSport United.
Over the course of his career, Poggenpoel has scored one goal and registered four assists in 74 appearances across all competitions.
He becomes the latest signing for this week, behind veteran goalkeeper Darren Keet.
