Stellenbosch FC have continued to bolster their squad after confirming the signing of Ghana international Solomon Agbasi.

The 25-year-old joins the Maroons from Ghanaian outfit Accra Hearts of Oak S.C.

The Ghanaian international arrives at the club after putting pen to paper on a long-term contract.

Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ghana international Solomon Agbasi on a long-term deal.

Agbasi is expected to wear the No. 16 jersey and will be in line to make his debut when Stellies take on Kaizer Chiefs when the Betway Premiership returns on October 17.

“I feel very excited to be part of Stellenbosch FC,” Agbasi told his club’s official website.

“Football has always given me a place to call home, and I feel like I am at home. Everyone has welcomed me and I feel good to be here.

“I’m hoping to help the team get back to the top four in the league, and from there compete for the league and in the CAF Confederation Cup or Champions League in the coming seasons.”
