Kaizer Chiefs winger Langelihle Phili says his main priority is to contribute to the team’s success while maintaining his impressive form for Amakhosi.
The Glamour Boys will look to bounce back in the Betway Premiership when they take on Richards Bay at the Richards Bay Stadium on Wednesday.
Phili has hit the ground running at Amakhosi and netted his first goal for the club in their 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.
The young attacker also revealed his appreciation for the support he has received from the Amakhosi faithful, vowing to repay their love with hard work, maximum effort and consistent performances on the pitch.
“Still, my overriding aim is to help the team in any way possible,” Phili told his club’s official website.
“In order to maintain my form consistently I must just keep listening to the coach and the technical team, learning from my teammates and just keep trying hard every day to become a better version of myself.
“It’s the best feeling ever to be loved by supporters.
“When I arrived at the Club my priority was to earn the love of the fans. I’ll keep on trying to please them through maximum effort, which is something they appreciate.”
