SuperSport United will be able to sign another foreign player after attacking midfielder Dove Wome acquired the status of a naturalised South African.

The 25-year-old Wome, who joined the Matsatsantsa from Mamelodi Sundowns back in 2014, has enjoyed a successful tenure at the club, scoring 15 times as the club has lifted the Nedbank Cup and Telkom Knockout trophies.

Having acquired a permanent residence permit after having worked for a period of over half a decade in the country, the Togolese-born star will be hoping to continue his good run of form with the side, who will now be able to register an additional foreign player.

SuperSport currently have just two foreign players on their books, with both Jeremy Brockie and Michael Boxall hailing from New Zealand, reports SoccerLaduma.

Wome made 34 appearances for SuperSport across all competitions last term, netting six times.
