Kaizer Chiefs reportedly had a deal worth around R3.6-million a year turned down by midfielder May Mahlangu.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent as of tomorrow after making the decision to move on from Sint-Truidense VV, and there has been plenty of talk about where he may end up next season, reports SoccerLaduma.

Amakhosi along with other Absa Premiership clubs are keen to bring the midfield man back to the PSL, however, the Bafana Bafana international insists on continuing his career in Europe.

The former Konyaspor player has reportedly  turned down a multi-million rand offer from the Chiefs in the hopes of signing for a new club in Europe.

During his time at Sint-Truidense Mahlangu netted two goals from 19 appearances in all competitions for the Jupiler Pro League side.
