Black Aces' plan taking shape

Mpumalanga Black Aces owner John Comitis confirmed that former national team goalkeeper Calvin Marlin will relocate with the side later in the month.

Speculation in local media on Monday suggested that coach Muhsin Ertugral may back out of the move to Cape Town with the club if key members of his technical team did not follow.

That speculation has now been quashed somewhat by the latest statement from the new Black Aces owner.

‘I can confirm that Calvin Marlin has signed a new 3 year deal with the club. Calvin will be relocating to Cape Town.’ said Comitis on Monday.

‘He will be arriving in Cape Town early next week to be here for the arrival of the squad for preseason.

‘We are delighted to have such a professional on board with us. I have worked with Calvin before as a player at Ajax and his work ethic and enthusiasm is a big plus for the club.’
