South African star Relebohile Mofokeng reflected on a memorable European night after helping Union Saint-Gilloise secure an impressive victory in their UEFA Europa League opener.
Mofokeng reached another milestone in his promising European career after making his Europa League debut for Union Saint-Gilloise.

“What a special game, first European game is very good a win for our club and very good for our reputation,” Mofokeng said.
“We just can here to send a message that we came here to work and that we came here to do what needs to be done.
“I think the fighting spirit is just in our blood; we came here to win, to take the three points and did exactly that.
“Obviously, we go to every game with the mindset of winning so we did very well as a team so we’ll keep on doing well.
“”We knew from the start that if they play a high line there would always be space behind them and if they press us there is always space behind them.
“I think I knew there would be space behind them, I just the matter of the pass and it was a great pass from my teammate.
“We used the spaces quite good thats why we got the three goals, we did very well,” he concluded.
