New Zealand striker Jeremy Brockie was the big winner at SuperSport United’s annual awards ceremony held at The Venue in Melrose Arch on Thursday.

Brockie scooped three prizes at the ceremony as he claimed the Golden Boot award in addition to being awarded the Chairman’s award and the Player of the Season prize.

The New Zealand international was outstanding at times last term as he netted 18 goals across all competitions to power a late turnaround in SuperSport’s fortunes.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Boalefa Pule was awarded the CEO Award following his excellent performance in the Nedbank Cup final. The shot-stopper came off the bench in the tie against Orlando Pirates as the side held firm to secure silverware.

Elsewhere, the Player’s Player of the Year was picked up by first choice goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, while Mondli Mpoto was awarded the young player of the year and Kaitano Tembo received the Coaches prize.
