Austrian outfit SV Ried have officially completed the transfer of attacking midfielder Jaedin Rhodes from Cape Town City.

The Citzens revealed that they reached an agreement with SV Ried for the permanent transfer of Rhodes.

The 23-year-old signed a deal with SV Ried until 2028 with an option for an additional season.

SV Oberbank Ried Sporting Director Wolfgang Fiala has since confirmed the transfer of Rhodes following the departure of Antonio van Wyk.
“After Antonio van Wyk’s departure, we were looking for a player who could match Toni’s strengths and be even more direct in front of goal.
“Since we have good experiences with South African players, the market was naturally interesting for us.
“Jaedin is a direct player who is very good at pressing and has a good sense of depth.
“We are very pleased that he chose SV Oberbank Ried, even though he had several other offers.”
