Cape Town City have bid farewell to attacking midfielder Jaedin Rhodes following his transfer to Austrian outfit SV Ried.

Rhodes came through the academy ranks at City before gaining promotion to the senior team during the 2021/22 season.

The 23-year-old went on to score nine goals and register four assists in 93 appearances across all competitions at City.

The attacking midfielder has since earned a move abroad after completing his move to the Austrian outfit.

“Cape Town City have reached an agreement with SV Ried for the transfer of Jaedin Rhodes,” City announced.

“A product of our academy, Jaedin leaves the club after many years in blue to begin a new chapter in the Austrian Bundesliga.

“Wishing you all the best, Jaedin.”
