Kaizer Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons says he is determined to improve his game to help contribute to the team’s success this season.

Solomons was the hero for Amakhosi this past weekend after he scored the equalising goal to earn his side a 1-1 draw against Zamalek SC in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Amakhosi will now turn their attention back to the Betway Premiership when they face Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old will be hoping to continue his form for Amakhosi in the hope of helping his side walk away with all three points.

“The CAF games have been a learning experience as we have a number of players getting their first taste of continental football,” Solomons told his club’s official website.

“It has been tough but we’ll take the results and move on with the determination to improve when the competition resumes next year.

“Personally, it has been a good few months for me. The heard work I did when I was injured is paying off now. Being out injured was not a good tie for me.

“But I am so happy to be involved now and to help contribute to the team. Scoring a goal was wonderful but I like getting assists, which I take pride in more.

“I really want to contribute even more, hopefully in the next two games before the break for the AFCON tournament.
