Argentina faced the United States in the Copa America semi-final early on Wednesday morning and Lionel Messi did not disappoint. 

The Argentine superstar, who was the Man of the Match, popped up with two assists in the tie, but it was the forward’s sublime free-kick that has grabbed the headlines and an entry into the record books.

He is now the all-time leading scorer for Argentina on 55 goals, one better than legendary forward Gabriel Batistuta.
