Brazil faced off against Peru in the Copa America in the early hours of Monday morning needing just a point to progress to the quarter-finals.

But Brazil’s hopes were dashed as a controversial goal from Raul Ruidiaz saw the Brazilians eliminated. Ruidiaz seemed to knock the ball over the line with the use of his arm, but despite the protests from the Brazillians, the goal was allowed to stand.
