Lebo Mothiba netted his first Ligue 1 goal on his Lille return while a late goal by Luther Singh helped Sporting Braga earn a point over the weekend, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.

Lebo Mothiba

Mothiba marked his return to Lille from a loan spell at Valenciennes the best way possible by scoring his first goal for the club. The Bafana Bafana international scored his side’s first goal during their 2-2 draw with Nantes, which sees Lille move up to 16th on the Ligue 1 standings with 26 points.

Luther Singh

Singh salvaged a point for Sporting Braga after scoring an injury time equaliser during their 1-1 draw with Leixoes in the Portuguese Second Division. The draw sees his side move up to 18th place with 23 points after 24 games.

Keagan Dolly

On his return to the starting lineup, Dolly played 68 minutes to help his side earn a narrow 1-0 victory over Metz in the French Ligue 1, which keeps them sixth in the standings with 37 points.

Lebogang Phiri

Phiri played the full 90 minutes for Guingamp as they were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw against Caen in the Ligue 1. The French side are now 10th in the standings with 33 points from 25 games so far this campaign.

Thulani Serero

Serero played the full 90 minutes to help Vitesse claim a shock 3-1 victory over Feyenoord in the Eredivisie. The Dutch side has now moved up to seventh in the standings, trailing fourth place Feyenoord by two points.

Andile Jali

Jali came on as a second half substitute for Oostende as his side secured a 2-0 victory over Anderlecht. The win sees Oostende move up to 11th in the Belgian First Division A table with 29 points after 26 matches played this season.

Lebogang Manyama

Manyama was not named in the match day squad as Konyaspor edged Alanyaspor 2-1 to move up to 16th place in the Turkish Super Lig standings, one point away from safety after 21 matches played.

Kamohelo Mokotjo

Mokotjo was an unused substitute as English Championship outfit Brentford played out to a 1-1 draw against Preston North End, which sees them occupy 10th in the Championship log with 44 points.

Bongani Zungu

Zungu played no part in Amiens 3-2 defeat at the hands of Bordeaux as he continues to recover from an injury. The defeat leaves his side in 17th place in the Ligue 1 standings with 25 points after 25 matches.
