Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique believes his players had the “right mentality” in their victory over Inter Miami.

The French giants booked their place in the Club World Cup quarter-finals after claiming a 4-0 victory over Inter Miami in the round of 16.

A double from Joao Neves plus an own goal by Tomás Avilés and a goal from Achraf Hakimi, handed PSG a comfortable win at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Enrique was pleased with his side’s performance, especially in the first half, but felt his side dropped a bit in the second as all of their goals came in the first stanza.
“I’m happy, I liked the way we started the match,” Enrique told DAZN.
“We managed it well, we created a lot of chances even though we had fewer opportunities in the second half.
“But I’m happy. I’m pleased with all the players, they had the right mentality.”
