Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Joao Neves was delighted with his performance after scoring his first-ever double in a match.

The French giant secured their progression to the Club World Cup quarter-finals after claiming a 4-0 win over Inter Miami in the round of 16.

Neves opened his account for the French side at this competition by scoring two goals to help his side advance to the next round.

The Portuguese international says he was happy with his performance and believes this win has given his side even more confidance heading into the quarter-finals.
“I think we played a very good game. Even when we were winning 4-nil we didn’t stop,” Neves told DAZN.
“We kept playing our game and I think it was a positive day for us.
“It’s the first time I’ve scored two goals in one game, so I’m very happy but I’m happier for the victory.
“I think we have the same confidence because we play our game no matter against whom, so we are confident and we are happy.”
