Sekhukhune United have confirmed that the club have parted ways with attacking midfielder Pogiso Mahlangu.

The 23-year-old joined Babina Noko from Pretoria Callies FC during the 2021-22 season.

Mahlangu has since gone on to score two goals and register one assist in 59 appearances across all competitions.

The attacking midfielder also helped the club secure a fourth-place finish in the Betway Premiership and secure continental football for the new season.
Mahlangu join the likes of Badra Ali Sangaré, Loydt Kazapua, Kamohelo Sithole, Miguel Antonio Dias, Sipho Mbule, Katlego Otladisa, Alves Ngakosso and Lindokuhle Mtshali in parting ways with the club.
“The Babina Noko family bids farewell to one of our loyal players, Pogiso Mahlangu, who wore our colours with pride since 1 July 2021,” Sekhukhune said in a statement.
“From fighting in the Nedbank Cup final, to helping us reach the continental stage, Pogiso’s hard work and dedication will always be remembered.
“We thank you, Mahlangu, for your service, your fight, and your loyalty.
“You leave with our respect and best wishes for the future.”
