Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teboho Mokoena insists the focus is firmly on their own game as they prepare for their Betway Premiership showdown against Sekhukhune United.

The Brazilians will look to bounce back after they played out to a thrilling 2-2 draw against Al-Hilal at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns will now turn their attention to the Betway Premiership, where they will take on Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.

The Tshwane giants come into this fixture sitting at the top of the league table, level on 29 points with second-placed orlando Pirates.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune are placed fifth on the table with 26 points after 15 matches played so far this season.

“We’re excited and looking forward to the game,” Mokoena said.

“We take it one game at a time and are aware of the log, but our focus is on playing our game.”
