Club Brugge’s Percy Tau, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Denis Onyango and Maritzburg United’s Richard Ofori have been listed among the 2019 Caf Best XI nominees.

Tau has been in impressive form for Club Brugge this season and influential to their success in the Belgian Pro League as well as putting in a few good performances in the Uefa Champions League.

His contributions for Bafana and Club Brugge has earned him a spot on the list among the likes of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane, Wilfried Zaha, Mohamed Salah in the forward category.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango is also nominated for his outstanding performance for the Brazilians and the Ugandan national team over the past year.

Joining Onyango on the top-10 goalkeeper’s list is Ghana and Maritzburg United shotstopper Richard Ofori, who has been excellent for club and country.

The winning team will be announced on the 7 January 2020 at Caf headquarters in Cairo at the annual awards ceremony.
