Peter Shalulile was honoured and celebrated before Mamelodi Sundowns’ victory over Magesi FC after he broke the all-time PSL scoring record.

The Namibian striker made history when he broke Siyabonga Nomvethe’s scoring record during their 1-0 win over Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium on 30 August.

Shalulile has taken his scoring record to 130 goals, surpassing Nomvethe’s tally of 129 goals.

The 31-year-old will be looking to add to his record and goal tally when they take on Marumo Gallants at the Dr Rantlai Petrus Stadium on Wednesday.
