Sekhukhune United handed Kaizer Chiefs their first defeat, while Durban City secured a win over Siwelele in mid-week action of the Betway Premiership.

Kaizer Chiefs 1-3 Sekhukhune United

Kaizer Chiefs suffered their first defeat in the league after suffering a 3-1 loss to Sekhukhune United when a double by Bradley Grobler and a goal from Thabang Monare cancelled out Flavio Silva’s goal at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The defeat saw Amakhosi drop down to third place on the table with 13 points after six games, while Sekhukhune remained in first place on the table with 16 points from six matches.

Durban City 2-0 Siwelele

Durban City ended their three-match winless run in the league after securing a 2-0 win against Siwelele thanks to goals from Letsie Koapeng and Bokang Mokwena at the Chatsworth Stadium in Chatsworth.

The win takes Durban City up to fourth place on the table with 11 points from six games, while Siwelele dropped to 13th place with four points from six matches.

Chippa United 2-1 Orbit College FC

Chippa United recorded their first win in the league after they claimed a 2-1 win over Orbit College when Xolani Sithole and Justice Figuareido cancelled out a late goal from Siyabulela Mabele at the Buffalo City Stadium in East London.

The victory sees the Chilli Boys climb to 14th place on the log with four points after six games, while Orbit College dropped to the bottom of the table with three points from six matches.
