The South African Football Association has appointed Morena Ramoreboli as Bafana Bafana head coach for the upcoming Cosafa Cup.

Raymond Mdaka, who was instrumental in leading Marumo Gallants to the Caf Confederations Cup quarterfinals, will serve as his assistant coach.

Just recently, Ramoreboli coached Jwaneng Galaxy FC to the 2023 Botswana Premier League championship.

The two head coaches will announce their squads for the 5-16 July Cosafa Cup tournament in Durban on Friday, June 23.

Bafana Bafana will begin training for the 2023 Cosafa Cup on June 27 in Durban.

Walter Steenbok, technical director of Safa, said the two coaches’ backgrounds gave them the potential to honour the country.
