The Proteas ended Australia’s unbeaten streak in the T20I after claiming a 53-run victory at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin.

Dewald Brevis smashed the second-fastest T20I century by a South African before going on to post the highest score of 125 from 56 balls.

Brevis hit his maiden T20I century to help the Proteas end their six-match losing run against Australia.

The Proteas have now gone level in the ongoing three-match series, and the final T20I of the series will be played at Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns on Saturday (August 16).
