Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of Bafana Bafana winger Oswin Appollis.

The 23-year-old joins the Buccaneers from fellow Betway Premiership outfit Polokwane City.

Appollis was one of the standout performers for Rise and Shine last season and helped the club secure a top-eight finish in the league.

The winger leaves Polokwane after making 59 appearances across all competitions, while scoring nine goals and registering six assists.

The Bafana attacker has now become the eighth new signing for Pirates, behind Yanela Mbuthuma, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane and Sihle Nduli.
