Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu says they are fully focused on putting in the hard work required to ensure they are ready for the challenges of the new season.

The Glamour Boys ended their European tour when they took on La Liga outfit Elche on Saturday.

Amakhosi will now turn their attention to the upcoming Toyota Cup when they take on Zimbabwean side Scottland in the opening game on July 26.

Ndlovu says the squad is embracing the demands of pre-season under new head coach Fernando da Cruz.

“It has been a wonderful camp. We are very happy to be here to do some preparation for the new season. We are looking better and sharper each and every training session,” Ndlovu told his club’s official website.

“We have a new coach with a new philosophy and we are adapting well to his ideas.

“We are all enthusiastic and very ambitious. This is a lovely environment but we are not here on holiday; we are here to work and we are putting in the effort on a daily basis.

“We are enjoying it, though.”
