Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane has strengthened his technical team as they continue to prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

South Africa are preparing to take on Guinea and Eritrea in their AFCON Group D qualifiers.

Mosimane has announced that Marcus Mashilo has joined the technical team as the new goalkeeper coach and will work with coach Manqoba Mngqithi and coach Rhulani Mokwena.

Meanwhile, he has also confirmed that Tshepo Mahao has joined the team and will be an assistant analyst.

Mosimane has welcomed the addition of experienced goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo to his technical team, highlighting Mashilo’s previous experience working alongside him and other top South African coaches.

“The technical team is complete now. We have got Marcus Mashilo to help us as the goalkeeper coach,” Mosimane said.

“Marcus is very experienced and he worked with me at Mamelodi Sundowns. He also worked with coach Manqoba Mngqithi and coach Rhulani Mokwena.”
