Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has stressed the importance of carefully managing Reeve Frosler following his return from a long-term injury.

Frosler made his return when he came off the bench to play the final 29 minutes and assisted two goals against Magesi FC.

This was not enough for him to secure his place in the starting lineup against TS Galaxy, as he played the final four minutes of the match.

Kaze says he will gradually ease Frosler back into the squad to avoid any setback after returning from injury.

“He was injured for a long time, and with a player like that, you want to introduce them step by step,” Kaze told the media.

“You don’t want to go with the hype, give him too much time and risk an injury. He is coming along very well, and is a player who can help us a lot with his experience.

“He has an attacking flair, good technique and is intelligent when he gets into positions where he can make good crosses. For sure he will help us a lot from now until the end of the season.”
