Orlando Pirates will have played seven matches in the space of a month just before Christmas, which include their Caf Champions League and Telkom Knockout Cup final fixtures.

The Buccaneers have enjoyed an excellent run of form, most recently pipping arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby to book their spot in the Telkom Knockout final.

The choc-a-bloc schedule will begin on Wednesday with a tricky fixture against Light Stars in the Caf Champions League. Three days later Pirates face Fadlu Davids’ Maritzburg United outfit in an Absa Premiership encounter.

The Buccaneers will then jet 4500km to the Seychelles to play Light Stars in the return leg on Wednesday, before having to return to South African shores three days later to compete in the Telkom Knockout Cup final against Baroka FC.

Thereafter, Pirates will face Free State Star three days later. Provided Pirates get past the Light Stars over the two legs in their continental journey, they will resume their Caf journey on December 15, followed by a return leg in either Comoros or Namibia on the weekend of December 22-23.

Full Schedule:

Match 1: Wednesday 27 November / Caf Prelim (1st Leg) vs Light Stars (H)

Match 2: Saturday, 1 December / Absa Premiership vs. Maritzburg United (H)

Match 3: Wednesday 5 December / Caf Prelim (2nd Leg) vs. Light Stars (A)

Match 4: Saturday, 8 December / TKO Final vs Baroka FC (Neutral)
