New Real Madrid signing Trent Alexander-Arnold says his objective is to win “lots of trophies” and enjoy his football alongside the best players in the world.

The 26-year-old was officially unveiled by Real Madrid after putting pen to paper on a six-year contract with the Spanish giants.

The England international will now don the number 12 jersey when he represents Los Blancos this season.

Alexander-Arnold is relishing the chance to play for Madrid, stating that it’s a dream come true to play for a team of their calibre.

“I want to win a lot of trophies and enjoy myself alongside the best players in the world,” Alexander-Arnold said.

“Thank you to the club president and the club for this opportunity. It’s a dream come true. I’m delighted and proud to be here.

“I’m looking forward to showing the Madridistas my game. I’m aware that playing for Real Madrid is a huge responsibility, but I’m ready to give it my all.

“I want to show my game and win lots of trophies. To be a champion, to grow and to enjoy myself alongside the best players in the world. Hala Madrid!”
