Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente is confident his side can defeat World Cup favourites France when they meet in the semi-finals.
La Roja advanced to the semi-finals after they secured a 2-1 victory over Belgium at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Spain will now take on France in the last four when they meet at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Tuesday.
Confident but respectful of their opponents, De la Fuente believes La Roja have what it takes to overcome another of the tournament favourites and continue their impressive World Cup campaign.
“It’s the character of the team. It’s an honour to coach a team so committed and eager to improve.
“It’s fair to think we can beat France. We’re going to work hard for it.
“We’re the only team that has managed to beat them twice. A great team is going to face another great team.”
