Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of midfielder Lebohang Maboe from Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 30-year-old joins Amakhosi on a free transfer after parting ways with the Brazilians.

Maboe made 183 appearances in all competitions for Sundowns, while scoring 20 goals and registering 23 assists in the process.
The Gauteng-born midfielder has become Amakhosi’s 10th signing behind Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Ethan Chislett, Asanele Velebayi, Luke Baartman, Etiosa Ighodaro, Siphesihle Ndlovu, and Flávio Silva.

Kaizer Chiefs have officially signed midfielder Lebohang Maboe, marking their 10th acquisition of the current season.
Maboe, who was part of the Club’s youth development academy during his teenage years, returns to Naturena after stints with SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Maritzburg United. Over the course of his distinguished career in the Premier Soccer League, he has collected several trophies and accolades.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has also earned 13 caps for the South African national team, Bafana Bafana.
