Kaizer Chiefs have finally completed a move for winger Asanele Velebayi from Cape Town Spurs.
The 22-year-old joins the club from Cape Town Spurs, who were relegated to the ABC Motsepe League.
The winger was declared as a free agent by the PSL Dispute Resolutions Chamber on Monday.
“We are happy to finally have Asanele with us,” says Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr.
“He is a great addition, and we believe he will add significant value because he is a perfect fit for our game model and the culture we have here at the Club.”
Kaizer Chiefs released the following statement on the matter, which reads:

The Cape Town-born winger has signed a long-term contract, fulfilling his lifelong dream of wearing the Gold & Black colours of Amakhosi.
