Chelsea booked their place in the Club World Cup semi-finals after claiming a 2-1 win over Palmeiras at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Blues grabbed an early lead when Cole Palmer beat two players before slotting the ball home in the 16th minute.
Palmeiras drew the game level in the 53rd minute when Estêvão Williams fired the ball into the back of the net with a spectacular finish.
The London side eventually scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute when Malo Gusto’s effort deflected off of Agustín Giay before sailing into the back of the net.
Chelsea will now take on Fluminense in the semi-finals when they square off at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Tuesday.
