The Brazilians are set to face Orbit College FC in the Betway Premiership when the two sides meet at the Olympia Park, Rustenburg.
Sundowns will come into this fixture after claiming a 2-1 victory over Golden Arrows at Loftus Versfeld Stadium last week.
The Tshwane giants currently sit in second place in the Betway Premiership standings, level on 44 points with first placed Orlando Pirates.
The Sundowns head coach praised the collective attitude within the dressing room, insisting the team continues to embrace the club’s core values while remaining fully focused on the challenges ahead, starting with their upcoming clash against Orbit College FC.
“We got stronger; we got players that made us stronger. We have an attitude, [as a] collective, that is in the direction of the values we have in the locker room,” Cardoso said as per SuperSPort.
“We are living them and expressing ourselves every day. We are more committed than ever, we are more together than ever, and we train harder than ever… There are a lot of questions I addressed at the beginning of the season. You just have to go back and look at them, and you will see we were right.
“We get energy out of challenges, but we need to keep our focus… and we need to be very committed… From now on, we think about the next match to win… [and] everyone is thinking about the match against Orbit.”
