Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced his 24-man squad for their crucial African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier against Libya on 24 March.

The South African national team are set to take on Libya in their final group stage encounter, only needing a draw in order to book their place in the continental competition in Egypt.

Bafana currently occupy second place in Group E with nine points from five games, one point behind leader Nigeria, who have already qualified for the tournament.

Baxter has handed Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma a call-up as their third choice goalkeeper, while also including the likes of Bongani Zungu, Rivaldo Coetzee and Lars Veldwijk, who all make their return to the squad.

However, South Africa will not have a camp in South Africa, as they will leave for Sfax, Tunisia, on 16 March ahead of their crucial Afcon qualifier.
