Bafana Bafana moved one step closer to securing their qualification to the World Cup following their 1-1 draw against Nigeria at the Free State Stadium on Tuesday evening.
South Africa took the lead in the 25th minute when Mohau Nkota played a low cross into the area, where William Troost-Ekong deflected the ball into the back of his own net to make it 1-0.

The Super Eagles managed to draw the game level in the 44th minute when Calvin Bassey headed the ball home after latching on to a cross from Tom Dele-Bashiru.
