Cape Town City have released a strong statement lashing out at Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor Nande Becker after Mpho Makola was handed a six-month ban by the PSL Disciplinary Committee.
Cape Town City midfielder Mpho Makola has been handed a six-month ban after he was found guilty of assaulting match official Abongile Tom during the Telkom Knockout match against Kaizer Chiefs.
With the PSL disciplinary committee starting to deal with matters across the league, it is believed that Cape Town City midfielder Mpho Makola could face a ban from anywhere between four games to six months if found guilty by the PSL of manhandling and pushing referee Abongile Tom.
