Banyana Banyana coach Dr Desiree Ellis has reflected back on their loss against Nigeria in the semi-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
South Africa’s journey in the WAFCON came to an end after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Nigeria in Morocco.
Goals from Rasheedat Ajibade and Michelle Alozie cancelled out Linda Motlhalo’s equaliser at the Stade El Arbi Zaouli to help Nigeria advance to the final.
Nigeria are now set to take on Morocco in the final, while South Africa will take on Ghana in the third-place playoff.
