Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has released his 23-man squad ahead of their Champions League opener against Marseille.

Los Blancos are set to welcome the French outfit to the Santiago Bernabéu in their opening match on Tuesday evening.

Real come into this fixture after claiming a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad in the La Liga on Saturday.

Marseille, meanwhile, are high in confidence after they clinched a comfortable 4-0 victory over FC Lorient in Ligue 1 on Friday.
