Mamelodi Sundowns moved one step closer to reaching the African Football League after claiming a 1-0 win over Al Ahly in the semi-final first leg at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

Thapelo Maseko scored the only goal of the game after unleashing a screamer from outside the box to find the back of the net against the Egyptian giants.
